Time Zone Converter

Compare the time across cities anywhere in the world.

What it is

A time zone converter tells you what time it is somewhere else in the world. Zonex is a free, browser-based time zone converter made for people whose day spans more than one zone — remote teams, frequent flyers, freelancers with overseas clients, and families spread across continents.

Choose a source city, add the places you care about, and Zonex lines up every local time side by side. You never have to count hours on your fingers or second-guess whether a country is ahead or behind.

How to use Zonex

Converting a time takes only a few seconds:

  1. Open Zonex and stay on the Time tab — it is selected by default.
  2. Set your source city: the place whose time you already know, such as your own location.
  3. Add the cities you want to compare from the built-in list of 40 major cities. You can track up to seven destinations at once.
  4. Type a specific time, or leave it on now to see the current moment everywhere.
  5. Read each city's local time, along with the day offset when a result lands on the previous or next calendar day.

Every comparison you build becomes a shareable link. Send that URL to a colleague and they open the exact same view — no sign-up and no install needed. To line up a call across several people at once, use the meeting time planner; if you also juggle exchange rates, the same workflow applies on the currency converter.

Why use Zonex

Zonex is built to do one job well. The interface is clean and distraction-free, with no ads, pop-ups, or clutter competing for attention. It loads instantly and runs entirely in your browser.

Daylight saving time is handled automatically using the IANA time zone database, so spring and autumn clock changes never trip you up. Zonex works the same on a phone or a desktop, ships with a dark mode by default, and costs nothing — there is no account to create and no paywall.
