What Zonex is
Zonex is a single-user time-zone and currency converter. There are no accounts, no login, and no sign-up. The app is designed to work without sending personal data off your device.
Data we collect inside the iOS app
Based on the current implementation, the native iOS app does not collect personal data. Settings you change inside the app — selected cities, saved currency presets, theme, time format — are stored on your device using browser-local storage.
You can clear all on-device data at any time from Settings → Reset app data.
Analytics
The hosted web version of Zonex (zonexchanger.com) uses Vercel Analytics for basic aggregate usage analytics. The native iOS app disables it.
Currency rates
Currency rates come from the free public Frankfurter API, which sources data from the European Central Bank. Each rate request shares only the base currency code (for example, USD). No personal information is transmitted.
What we don't do
Zonex does not embed third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the iOS bundle, does not sell or share data, does not require sign-in, and does not request access to camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos.
